This photo looks at the west side of Carson Street, just north of the intersection with Musser. There is angle-in parking and parking meters along the street here. The curb is crumbling badly in parts. A couple of fellows wearing suits and fedoras walk down the sidewalk towards the camera.
The only sign visible is for Standard Stations, but I believe the arrow is pointing to a filling station across the street. The building on the corner should be home to Geo. H. Meyers hardware, and the storefront to the right Kitzmeyer's Drug Store. Without signs it's difficult to confirm that those two businesses were there when the picture was taken.
In the distance on the left you can see Carson Street stretching off to the south, and more angle-in parking on the next block.
It's possible this photo was taken at the same time as
this one, which shows the same sidewalks from a slightly different angle.
