Description

Construction on the Union Pacific train trench in downtown Reno. This project, known as ReTRAC, took surface-level railroad tracks and put them underground to avoid automotive traffic. This view shows the support wall built underneath the old Railway Express Agency building, which houses the Men's Club. The historic Southern Pacific passenger depot is in the back. Fitzgerald's Hotel is in the distance.
