Description

This is the Downtowner Motor Inn in downtown Carson City, at the northeast corner of Carson and Washington streets. The marquee advertises queen and long beds, air conditioning, TV, phones, electric heat, and bridal suites.

The postmark on the back reads July 5, 1969. It says your hosts are Lee and Marge Brown. Their names are stamped in next to the crossed-out names of the previous hosts, Eleanor and Mac McGowan.

On the far left of this photo you can see a small sliver of Dick's Saloon at Ann Street.
