Donner Summit

The Donner Lake And Dutch Flat Wagon Road crossed the Central Pacific Railroad at Donner Summit. The railroad was inside snowsheds at the summit. There was an opening in the wooden snowshed for the wagons to pass through as they crossed the tracks.
