This is the Sweetland Building at the northeast corner of Carson and Proctor streets. The corner unit is occupied by the Jade Garden restaurant, specializing in Mandarin and Peking cuisine. To the left of that is Corporate Agents of Nevada, Inc. A few years later Nick's Pizza would move into that spot. Next door is the office of First Western Realty Inc, and next to that a store called Mojo, then Donna's Gallery.

I hung-out in MOJO quite a bit; it was a "Head Shop" and drew quite a bit of controversy from the up-tight "older generation."
