Source Caption: Harvey's Ranch featured a buffalo enclosure along side Jacks Valley Road, that spanned at least three decades from the 1960's until the 1980's. All this changed after Harvey Gross died in 1983 - - after which this portion of the ranch was sold to a Wisconsin pizza tycoon, and the buffalo disappeared — subsequently a large portion of the ranch property was developed into a golf course and high end housing. Photo taken in August 1968. Scanned from a Kodak Instamatic negative.
