V&T Locomotive #25 in Carson City

Virginia and Truckee Locomotive #25 was stored in the early 1970s on a piece of land on South Carson Street, just south of Fairview Street. Later the Nevada State Railroad Museum opened right across the street from this site, and the locomotive was moved there, where it was restored to working order.

Source Caption: OK, I located 1 photo of the #27 while she was sitting outside Carson in the fenced area with car #18. You can see #18's end. Not a good photo and I will locate the others. But note she is painted a dark green...any thoughts why the green. Movie?? This was probably when I was 12 yrs old so that would make it 1972.
