Description

The Federal Building, now known as the Paul Laxalt Building, in downtown Carson City. The V&T Caboose #24 is parked out front, and Southern Pacific Engine #8 is alongside. Both pieces of railroad equipment were displayed at the old Post Office from 1964 until 1975. The caboose is now at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, and the locomotive is on display in downtown Sparks.
