Description

A Virginia and Truckee train pulling into the Carson City depot. Pulled by locomotive #27, the train is crossing Carson Street (with no crossing gates) as the last obstacle before the station. This photo was taken from the station platform, and you can see the front end of a V&T bus parked next to the tracks. The bus is for passengers continuing on to Virginia City.

Behind the locomotive across the street Safeway can be seen.
