Sparks Aerial

An aerial view of Sparks, looking northwest with downtown at the very bottom of the photo. The Sparks Nugget hotel tower is prominent in the foreground. To the right of the hotel is downtown Sparks, where most of the visible buildings have been demolished in recent years, beginning in the late 90s for a large movie theater and parking garage. West Sparks and North Reno stretch into the background. I-80 and the Union Pacific train tracks travel off to the left.
