Description

The Carson & Tahoe Lumber & Fluming Company Railroad traveled from Glenbrook on the shore of Lake Tahoe, to the top of the flume at Spooner Summit. It used several switchbacks along the way, located in Slaughterhouse Canyon. This is the end of one of the switchbacks, looking out over the waters of Lake Tahoe.
