The home of Governor Jewett Adams. He was governor from 1883 to 1887, and this was considered the Governor's Mansion while he was in office. The house was likely at 410 S. Minnesota St., and has been demolished. Later this was the home of Andrew Maute, Superintendent of State Printing.
