Description

Looking southwest from Virginia City; the most prominent is the 3-story Chapin House. A few houses are in the foreground. Mine tailings make up the middle distance. The Virginia and Truckee Enginehouse is seen to the right. Along the hill in the distance is the railroad spur to the Combination Shaft.
