Description

A aerial photo of the Truckee River, just east of downtown Reno. The three bridges seen are, from top to bottom, Second Street, the Virginia & Truckee Railroad, and Rock Street. The Rock Street Bridge used to be the Virginia Street Bridge until 1905 when it was moved here. In the distance the Wells Street bridge crosses the river. The V&T turntable and enginehouse are seen on the far right edge.
