Description

Bob Gray's Virginia and Truckee tourist line in Virginia City, outside of tunnel #4 between Virginia City and Gold Hill. At the time, this was the end of the line. A siding was set up here so Locomotive #29 could disconnect from the downhill end of the train and reconnect on the uphill end. That is what is happening here. Later the line would be extended to Gold Hill, and then to Carson City.
