The McKeen Motor Car #22 is parked at the Carson City station. This motorized car was used to save the costs of running a full steam train. It was able to carry a few passengers, mail, and light freight, which most days was all the V&T had to transport. Here sacks of mail are being unloaded from the car on the near side, while packages are unloaded into a Railway Express truck on the opposite side.
