Description

The Morgan Mill was one of the many mills that processed Comstock ore, and one of the closest ones to Carson City. It was situated near the town of Empire at the bend of the Carson River. The Virginia & Truckee Railroad passed right by the mill to deliver ore from Virginia City; a freight train can be seen pulling up.
