Low Water at Tahoe

A view during one of Tahoe's low-water periods shows Tahoe City, seen from the dry lakebed. On the left is the industrial neighborhood of town, including the railroad enginehouse. That site is currently occupied by Commons Beach. To the right is the Swallow Cliffs, with the railroad trestle in front of it.
