Description

The swimming cove at Thunderbird Lodge at Lake Tahoe. This was the summer vacation home of George Whittell Jr., one of the richest men in California. The home was built in the 1930s. The Thunderbird Lodge is now owned by a non-profit and is available for tours and events.
