This postcard looks south on Carson Street, right in front of the Capitol. The Capitol is unseen of the to left of the photo, but on the right you can see the buildings across the street. The twin Ormsby County Courthouse (on the right) and Heroes Memorial Building (on the left) were both designed by Frederic DeLongchamps and built around 1921. In between them is the Nevada Supreme Court, although you can't see it from this angle.
Way down the street you can see the gleaming white facade of the St. Charles Hotel. At this time it was known as the Hotel Page.
Carson Street here still allows angle-in parking, and the center divider hadn't yet been added to the street.
