Spindleshanks Demolition

The demolition of Spindleshanks Restaurant at 6873 North Lake Blvd in Tahoe Vista at Lake Tahoe. The restaurant was built as the Sandy Beach Resort in 1927. The building was a hotel for many years, and it was also the post office until 1991. It went through several owners and tenants after it closed as a hotel. In 2000 it became Spindleshanks Restaurant. It was demolished in October 2015 for a timeshare project that never materialized.
