Lira's Supermarket was built in Minden in 2006, originally named the Sierra Nevada Trading Company. It was at the corner of Lucerne and Ironwood in the Minden Village shopping center, 1681 Lucerne Street. In 2008 it was sold and reopened as Lira's Supermarket. In 2010 it closed completely. A church now occupies the space.
