The Kinkead State Office Building was located at 505 East King Street in Carson City. This 6-story building was built in 1975 and housed many state departments. But there were flaws in the building; the floors were sloping and chunks of concrete would fall off. In 2007 they moved all employees out and to other office space. The building was empty until it was demolished in 2017.
