Source Caption: Unknown build date, (est. early-1920’s) Approx 325 seats including a small balcony of 75 seats. From the early-1960-s until it closed, it was operated by William L. Tamblyn (operator of the Brockway Theatre, Squaw Valley Theatre and Donner Theatre in Truckee. The theatre was an all wood strip building flanked by a food market and a curios shop and drug store on what is now Kings Beach State Park. It closed in 1970 and demolished. The projection and sound equipment was removed and later installed in the new Cobblestone Cinema in Tahoe City. I ran the projectors the last summer it operated.
