Reno Sky Ranch Airport

The Reno Sky Ranch Airport was located along the Pyramid Highway north of Sparks. This was the home of the first two Reno Air Races in 1964 and 1965. This illustration was produced for the 1964 Reno Air Race. The airport closed down in 1970. This is now part of Spanish Springs and there is a housing development on the site.
