Description

Preparations for flooding in downtown Reno during 1955. This photo looks east from Arlington Street, along the river side of the Truckee Lane Building. Furniture is being removed from the ground floor of the building in anticipation of the coming flood. The Truckee River was still rising. In the distance the Riverside Hotel is seen.
