1955 Flood

Flooding in downtown Reno during 1955. This view looks west along the Truckee River from an upper floor of the Mapes Hotel. Cars are still crossing the Sierra Street bridge, but the river level is rising. In the distance on the left side of the river you can see the Cavalier Motor Lodge and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
