Source Caption: Charles Lindbergh, seated high in front car, rides in 1927 along Second Street west from Virginia Street in a parade honoring his Reno visit. The bank at the corner of Second and Virginia can be seen in the right side of the photo. Lindbergh's solo flight across the Atlantic landed him on the cover of Time's first Man of the Year issue in 1927.
