Description

The Sundowner Hotel opened in downtown Reno in 1975, at the corner of Fourth and Arlington. It closed in 2003. In July 2008 it was being remodeled when a fire started on the outside of the tower. The fire was put out, but the renovation was cancelled because of the recession. This tower is still empty. In the foreground is the Bonanza Inn next door.
