This photo shows the Carson Nugget during the day. Back then the Nugget was contained to one city block, instead of taking over Spear Street like it does now. The prospector sign, as well as the neon spire reaching to the sky, were prominent landmarks in downtown. The building in the background is the Rosser Building, which housed the Eagles Lodge.
