The Mayre Building on the east side of B Street in Virginia City. Stockbroker George Marye built this building in Virginia City in the 1870s. It was one of the largest and most expensive buildings on the Comstock at the time it was built. The building burned in 1951. The post office parking lot is here now.

Walt Mulcahy, what a great Nevada Historian and Photographer. Legacy has been passed down through his only son, as well.
