The locomotive Glenbrook arrives in Carson City in the 1940s. This locomotive had run on the Carson & Tahoe Lumber & Fluming Company hauling lumber at Lake Tahoe. It later was moved to Tahoe City and pulled passenger cars between Tahoe and the Southern Pacific at Truckee. After its work was done there, it sat in disrepair in Grass Valley, where it had been brought to be used as spare parts for its sister engine, The Tahoe. Later in the 1940s, as seen here, it was moved to Carson City for preservation and eventually restoration. First at the Nevada State Museum and then the State Railroad Museum.
