Description

V&T Caboose #24 is seen here spotted underneath the cottonwoods in the yard at Carson City. The south wall of the old stone enginehouse can be seen behind the caboose. It is coupled to another car which can barely be seen to the left, probably coach #18. Those two cars were usually found together in the last years of the railroad.

The lettering on the side of the caboose reads "Ship Via Nevada's Famous V&T Railway".
