Across the River

This view looks north across the Truckee River in downtown Reno. This view looks along the route of the former V&T railroad tracks, and the old railroad bridge that used to be in this spot. In the distance is the old Southern Pacific freight house, and to the right is the Reno Aces ballpark, still under construction in 2008. This view was only possible briefly after the Nevada Inn motel across the river was demolished, and before the Courtyard by Marriott was built on the site.
