A view of the western side of Minden in the 1920s. Downtown Minden can be seen in the distance; the Douglas County Courthouse is prominent on the right. Graunke's Warehouse and the Minden Flour Milling Company can be seen in the distance on the left. Railroad Avenue (the current Hwy 395) has been freshly paved and runs through the center of the photo. This photo was taken from the top of the Union Oil Plant, located around where the Carson Valley Inn RV Park is today.
