Kransky collection of Edward H. Mitchell postcards

The Mint Building on Carson Street is seen partly hidden behind some large trees. A wrought-iron fence surrounds the Mint, and the original annex is in the back. The date of the photo is unclear, but the unpaved streets seem to suggest early 1900s, or even earlier.
