The Huntington Library

Description

Reno's Carnegie Library was built in 1904 on the south bank of the Truckee River, at Virginia Street. In the 1930s it was demolished and a post office built on the site. In this photo the 1877 Virginia Street Bridge is seen to the left, crossing the river.
