Description

The Virginia Evening Chronicle, at 35 C Street in Virginia City, was the main competitor to the Territorial Enterprise. Both newspapers were located on C Street, very close together. This building has been demolished, and the Virginia City Mercantile is now on this site. The address has changed to 85 South C Street. To the right is the Black and Howell Building, which has also been demolished.
