The Antonio Sala Ranch in the southern Washoe Valley. The central barn on the ranch was built in the 1870s. The ranch was later named the Lightning "W" Ranch. In the 1990s the barn and ranch buildings were torn down, and the ranch land was given over to housing and a golf course. The site of the barn is still empty land, located behind the house at 7320 Franktown Rd.
