Description

A parking lot in downtown Reno. This parking lot seems to be on the east side of Center Street. In the background is the hotel tower of Harold's Club, as well as the rear entrances of Nevada Club and Harrah's Club, facing towards Lincoln Alley. In front of those entrances is a plywood wall. That is the construction site where the Hotel Golden was demolished after a 1962 fire. Harrah's hotel tower was built on that site soon after. In the 1970s Harrah's expanded their casino to the site of the parking lot too. The Greyhound Bus station is on the right.
