Source Caption: The Territorial Enterprise building on C Street in Virginia City, Nevada. The historic newspaper was revived for a time during the 1940's into the 1960's by Lucius Beebe and Charles Clegg. The building is presently used as the Mark Twain Museum - a portico, removed when this picture was taken, has been restored. The building on the left is gone. The empty shell on the right has been rebuilt. Picture taken on July 27, 1949. Scanned from a Kodachrome slide. DBD photograph.
