Description

A postcard of Reno showing three of the largest casinos. The Sahara Reno opened in 1978, then later became the Flamingo Hilton and Golden Phoenix before being converted to condos. The MGM also opened in 1978, then later became Bally's, the Reno Hilton, and the Grand Sierra Resort. Harrah's downtown originally opened in 1937. It closed in 2020 and is being converted into apartments.
