Hunter's Lodge / Cuckoo's Nest

This is the restaurant building at the corner of Carson and Fourth streets, that formerly housed the Cuckoo's Nest and the Hunter's Lodge. In this photo the building is empty; later the Cafe Del Rio would move in for a short time. In 1998 the garage next door burned down, which weakened the structure of this building enough that it had to be razed.
