Source Caption: The building known for many years as the Magnolia Saloon was built in 1876. The building was bought in 1900 by the J.M. Davis family, and was operated as a stationery and book store. The telephone exchange was installed in this building in 1902, and still has the original "drop-leaf" switchboard, which was operated for many years by a blind woman named Suzie Davis. The shop now carries a fine selection of Antiques, Jewelry, Glass and China. The shop was named in honor of Eilley Orrum, "Queen of the Comstock."
