Source Caption: The Virginia and Truckee passenger depot in Carson City, probably taken in 1950, during the last year of the V&T's operation - before abandonment of the rail line. The promotional banner on the west facing side of the 1869 structure was put up in a final effort to generate more business for the railroad. The V&T track can be seen on the left (north) side of the structure on Washington Street. Scanned from an original print. Photographer unknown - acquired for Rick Donaldson Collection.
