Description

The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Reno. At this point it was only a few years old, and was still known as the Pioneer Theater-Auditorium. In front is the statue is named "Humanity", showing a pioneer family. This statue was formerly in front of the Nevada State Building that used to be on this site, and it was preserved when the State Building was demolished in 1966.
