With the Motor Car parked outside, we see that slumbering in one of the enginehouse stalls is NCB ALCO 2-8-0 #5. In a few weeks, #5 would be sold to the Virginia & Truckee and would head out to work the freight trains on the V&T between Reno, Carson City and Minden.
