Source Caption: The Tallac Casino built in 1902 on Tahoe's south shore had some amenities outside of gambling such as the grandest of Ballrooms and a ladies billiard room, not to mention the bowling alley. All adorned in natural finished wood and hardwood floors that shined with elegance. The French plate mirrors cost $10,000. (Lake Tahoe Historical Society photos)(Saga LT1)
