Downtown Reno

Travelling south on Virginia Street in downtown Reno coming to the intersection of 4th Street. This view looks south towards the Reno Arch in the background. On the left side of the intersection are the St. Albans Hotel building and the St. Francis Hotel. The St. Albans was known as the La Salle at the time. On the ground floor of the St Francis is The Sportsman, run by Chet and Link Piazzo.

The Pyrenees Hotel is on the right side of the street. On the ground floor of the Pyrenees is the Grotto Bar and Purity French Bakery. The Pyrenees is now the site of the Eldorado Casino.

In the distance, Harold's Club and the Riverside Hotel can be seen.
