Source Caption: This beauty was built in the spring of 1890 in New York and purchased by Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin of the Tallac Resort and don't you know the vessel was named the Tallac. The boat was launched from Tahoe City in 1890. This vessel will later be burned and repaired, sold and name changed to Nevada. (North Lake Tahoe Hist. Soc.)(Peter Goin, LT Maritime History)
